DES Approved ABLE4Teachers
‘ABLE4Teachers How and Why Relationships Matter in Schools’ summer course
“94% of participants stated they were likely or very likely to offer parents and colleagues time to talk about their worries or concerns following the training.”
‘ABLE4Teachers – How and Why Relationships Matter In Schools’ is one of our core Relationships in Practice training courses. DES approved, it is available for teachers, SNAs, principals, Home School Liaison Officers and School Completion Coordinators to support positive relationships in schools.
This course recognises that a multi-disciplinary team approach makes a difference to the learning experience for children and families. It is those relationships in practice that build capacity for learning and engagement.
Our ABLE4Teachers summer course has traditionally run over five consecutive days during the summer break. It supports the ‘Indicators for Success’ in the DES Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework.
“Fostering healthy relationships with peers, teachers and school staff are essential to children’s positive experience of school and their cognitive and emotional development. The needs and well- being of school staff are also of paramount importance”
